Whilst we regularly share a whole range of HR related content, we very rarely share with our followers information about our range of HR services so we thought that ahead of the new year it would be good to shout a bit more about what we can offer to help you manage your people, giving you more time to focus on running your business.
Core Services
Our core services are aimed at helping businesses to deal with their everyday HR needs. This can be handling employee relations issues such as disciplinaries and grievances, or providing advice on staff absence issues. We also make sure that a company’s contracts, handbooks, policies and other staff related documents are up to date and are compliant with current legislation so that they don’t need to worry about trying to keep pace with employment law changes. We then revise and create new policies as they are needed. With a number of employment law changes on the horizon in 2025 this is going to be a key aspect of our services in the year ahead. In order to deliver these services we have three main approaches.
- Our retained client services mean that you have a dedicated member of our team to look after you and your business’ HR needs. We get to know you and we become your trusted HR partner, there’s no limit on the amount of time you use each month and we provide simple, proactive and practical advice and support.
- Our ad-hoc services are ideal for those one off HR needs such as managing an employee relations case or delivering a HR project.
- If it’s simply documents that you want we can help with everything from letters, to new starter packs and comprehensive handbooks tailored to your business.
Training
As part of our extended HR services we are offer a wide range of training on a variety of HR topics and we can shape our training to meet your specific requirements. Training can be delivered online, in person at your workplace or at a venue of your choice. Some of our most popular training sessions include our HR Masterclass which covers all the basics of HR and is ideal for new managers, supervisors, team leaders, business owners or anyone who deals with day to day HR matters; and our Stop, Start, Continue Workshop which is a fantastic way to drill down into how your employees really feel about working with you and what would make their lives better. We also offer INSERT SOME TOPICS and we also create and design bespoke solutions depending on your individual needs. Training is offered to existing and new clients alike.
Your HR Director
We have successfully partnered with a number of clients to deliver our HR Director service. By having a HR Director as part of your senior team we offer strategic thinking and HR leadership to your business at a fraction of the cost of employing a HR Director. Our HR Director will enhance your business ensuring the link between people, finance, operations, growth, innovation, brand / reputation and the community to ensure you have an effective business & people strategy. We will proactively challenge you and create accountability so that you can get the best from your people and become a real employer of choice.
Mediation
We’re not naïve enough to think that everything in a workplace is sunshine and roses. Ultimately, we deal with people and from time to time people have disagreements and sometimes those disagreements can lead to wider issues and it can feel like there is no way to progress beyond a problem. That’s where mediation comes in so that honest and frank conversations can take place in a safe and positive environment to look at the future and how working relationships can be repaired. Our trained mediator will talk to you about the issues and work with both parties to find a solution focused approach aimed at reaching a positive resolution. As a third party we bring an impartial, non-judgemental perspective to whatever the dispute is, and by using mediation your business can prevent issues from escalating and causing further problems.
Employee Surveys
How often do you take the time to find out what your team really think? We believe that gathering employee feedback is crucial to your business – it makes your team feel valued and heard, plus it can bring in loads of new ideas you’ve never thought about. We can set up a survey to suit your needs, collate the results and present them to you, we can also follow up with you to discuss an action plan and how you then deliver the results of the survey to your team. Carrying out an employee survey doesn’t mean you have to action every piece of feedback you get, although communicating why you can’t is also important. One recent client we did some surveys for told us that they had the best response ever as a result of using our survey service, gathering some really useful feedback. Again this service is open to existing or new clients.
