Hi there, I’m Lisa, proud to be at the helm of CUBE and our unique offering. I’ve worked in HR for over 15 years and I really enjoy what I do. The only thing I love more than HR is my family. I’m a mum to a 6-year old daughter and an 8-year-old furry 4-legged woofer. I like to have fun at work and outside of work and that’s another reason our clients love us. No boring HR service here.
I love employment law but make it easy for our clients to understand what I’m talking about, I’m a typical straight-talking northern lass. I’ve worked in many business sectors and I bet there is nothing you can throw at me that I haven’t dealt with before.
I’m a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and have a Masters in Human Resource Management. I’ve also gone back to uni and I’m currently studying an MBA.

Hi, I’m Claire, Lisa’s right hand lady. I’ve been part of the CUBE family since May 2019 and I honestly can’t think of anything else I’d rather be doing! Aside from my passion for HR, my world revolves around my family, friends and my American Bulldog, Barker Brown. I play netball twice a week (mainly for the laugh, rather than the exercise!) and have loved everything horse related since I was a kid.
I live my life by the value that kindness costs nothing, life can be challenging so why make it harder by being mean to others. My burning desire is to buy old buildings and renovate them to provide accommodation for homeless people.
I love people – understanding what makes them tick and how to effectively communicate, so much so that I started a degree in Forensic Psychology. I have a very active brain that loves solving even the most seemingly complex problems – and believe me CUBE have seen some very strange and complex problems! I also recently passed by CIPD Level 5. I’m also incredibly proud to have won the BIBA Employee Hero Award for 2020 for the work I did during the COVID-19 pandemic.
I’ve also been told by my clients that I’m the nicest HR person they’ve ever met – a dubious accolade but one I’ll take none-the-less!
Hi, I’m Stuart and I joined CUBE HR in January 2021. I’ve worked in various HR roles in a number of different organisations and sectors since 2004, including hospitality, education and social housing. I completed my CIPD Level 5 qualification at the University of Huddersfield back in 2010.
When I’m not working, you’ll either find me running and cycling somewhere around East Lancashire and beyond, or baking and eating cakes to help with essential refuelling.
I was born and raised in Yorkshire so value for money is important to me, as is family. My wife and two children are a huge part of my life and they help to motivate me in many ways to be the best I can be each and every day.
I have a keen eye for detail, I am solution focussed and I take pride in always treating people in the same manner that I would expect to be treated myself.
The best compliment I have ever received from a colleague was when they said, “every company needs a Stuart Wright”, if that was the case though there wouldn’t be much left of me to go around!
Hi, I’m Howard and I believe that business success is dependent on the quality of the people it employs. That’s why HR is the most critical factor for achieving that success and why I love it so much!
Sure, there are lots of laws to understand, and techniques and processes in managing people but after 30 years in HR I consider that to be my job, not the clients. I give clients advice that they can understand because I know that HR is not their sole concern.
I was born, educated and became fully qualified in the north, so I guess you could call me a northerner – in my case that means plain speaking but entirely approachable. However, due to circumstances my family and I moved south. This has been a significant transition for me but after nearly a decade I have nearly got used to a round in the pub costing the same as my first house!
A famous child psychologist once said that a child’s personality doesn’t typically change much after the age of 7 and so my interests then of music and football still hold good for today. Recently I have started working with a local charity in getting the long-term unemployed back into work and that has been brilliant.
